A public school with an urban location in Southern California, CSUDH had long been struggling with increasingly low enrollment numbers as well as community-wide misperceptions about the quality of its academics and students. In 2008, our team began working with CSUDH’s Enrollment Management and Student Affairs division to develop year-round strategic communications aimed at branding the university as a leading urban model of higher learning, while increasing application and enrollment numbers among high-performing students.
After partnering with CSUDH, the university hit its enrollment targets for the first time in 10 years. CSUDH has also improved the quality of its applicants, dramatically increased website traffic, and enhanced retention rates. The communications we developed for CSUDH won several CASE awards including a Gold, Silver and Bronze.
